On the afternoon of March 13, the Provincial Department of Education held a video conference to re-emphasize and redeploy the epidemic prevention and control work in schools across the province.

After the conference, HIE made arrangements for the implementation of the spirit of the meeting and for recent epidemic prevention and control work.

Yi Bing put forward seven requirements on how to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control at present: First, to check the information well, which means the reporting channels of teachers and students' health information shall be unblocked and the information shall be of accuracy; second, to strictly verify health information of those people entering and leaving the school gate; third, to strengthen the management of campus environmental sanitation; fourth, to guide teachers and students to develop good hygiene habits and take personal epidemic prevention and control measures; fifth, to strengthen quality supervision and management on canteens; sixth, to prevent and control common infectious diseases in spring; seventh, to maintain information symmetry and strengthen contact and information sharing with health departments.

A new round of epidemic is on the rise, and campus cluster epidemics have occurred in many places in China. Strictly controlling the epidemic prevention and control in schools is related to the health and safety of teachers, students and employees, as well as social security and stability. All teachers and students shall be fully aware of its significance and take personal protective measures without slack to ensure the safety and stability of the campus.
